Personal data is information that can be used to identify you. It includes information such as your name, address, postal address, date of birth and telephone number. Collection and use of personal data
The data privacy practices of WOW Tech Europe GmbH comply with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). Unless you would like access to additional services, WOW Tech Europe GmbH will only ask for and use your personal data for the purpose of order processing. To process and ship your order, WOW Tech Europe GmbH will transmit your data to the shipping service tasked with delivery. It will be ensured that all data is collected, stored, used and processed in a legally permissible manner.
If you want to place an order on our online store, WOW Tech Europe GmbH will need your first and last name, email address, billing address and - if different - shipping address (street, postal code, place), phone number and a password to log into the WOW Tech Europe GmbH online store. Your date of birth is also necessary to allow the purchase of age-restricted goods. This data is then stored and you will not need to enter it again after logging into the WOW Tech Europe GmbH online store. You can change your shipping address or enter a new one at any time, however. Immediately after signing up for the online store, you will be sent a confirmation email. How do we protect your information?
WOW Tech Europe GmbH stores your information on well secured servers in Germany and the Netherlands. Your information can be accessed only by a few authorized individuals who provide technical, commercial or editorial support for the server. We use a secure transfer process called “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) to process customer data. Your personal data such as name or address will be encrypted using our security server software, which converts information into a code. This prevents your data from being read by unauthorized parties during transfer over the internet. Most new browsers already support this secure transfer process.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small units of information that allow WOW Tech Europe GmbH to identify you as a user when you visit the WOW Tech Europe GmbH online store and thus ensure a quick and easy purchase experience. Enable “Allow sites to save and read cookie data” under “Cookies”. Close both windows. Refresh your browser (Refresh or [F5]).
Select “Preferences” under the “Safari” menu item or [cmd] + [,]. Go to the “Privacy” tab. Select “Always allow” under “Cookies and website data”. Close the menu. Refresh your browser (View > Refresh Page or [cmd] + [R]).
